Our
primary business at Hornet is designing and making
horns. We decided to represent the companies listed on the left and
sell their PARTS and products because they are excellent
performers for the money and because of our long term orientation towards
high efficiency speakers and tube amplification.
But
the fact that we are usually busy with a number of things - and because
we want to be as expedient as possible - we have to set the
minimum order value for parts at 100 Euros. If we don't do
this, we will be risking delays with horn production and this is the
last thing we want. So please accept this limitation and if it's just
one pair of tubes - or something similar - please get them somewhere
else. You can even ask us and we will point you out where to get them
at the same price. Distributors and resellers oriented towards a number
of small end-user shipments have infrastructure to do this quickly and
cheaply. For us a number of small orders would require serious reorganisation.
On
the other hand we will stimulate larger orders, which may lead to a
few DIYers assembling one order together. Stimulation will be free
shipping for all part orders over 2,000 Euros. This of course
excludes horn enclosures and is valid only for products listed on these
Parts pages. And regardless where you live, you get free insured air
parcel shipping. Hope this compensates a bit for the minimum order clause.
